MURAL DE HISTORIA HISPANA DE ROSWELL - DEDICATION CEREMONY AND INSTALLATION
Installation: October 15th through October 17th. 2008.

The Chihuahuita Mural Project is nearing completion.  The 720 square foot mural painting is currently being installed on the 2nd story, west exterior wall of the Ave Maria Center of St. John the Baptist Church, 401 E. Bland, Roswell.  The ten foot high, seventy-two foot long mural was painted by community volunteers, under the direction of artist, Theresa Pfarr. The mural celebrates the culture and history of the neighborhood of Chihuahuita, the first settlement of Roswell. It is an illustration of stories collected from neighborhood residents and historical research.

Where:  Ave Maria Center, 401 E. Bland, Roswell

When:  Installation, Wednesday, October 15th through October 17th.  Dedication, Sunday, October 19th at 2 pm.
